SPRING AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS (AEP)/CLUB REGISTRATION FAQ

SPRING 2019 REGISTRATION: WEB LINKS OPEN THURSDAY, JANUARY 9th AT 8AM AND WILL RUN THROUGH SUNDAY, JANUARY 12th AT 8PM.

  • The Spring programs will run Tuesday, January 21th through Thursday, April 2nd.

  • After School Enrichment will run from 2:00-3:15 p.m. each day. Club costs are a one-time

payment, not weekly, paid at registration.

  • Music (Mrs. Chick and Mr. Namislo) teachers run their own “clubs” based on their schedule availability. Music Clubs run throughout the entire year, and Drama will follow the AEP Spring schedule. Please refer to Active for dates and times as these clubs are scheduled from 2:00-2:45 each day. All dismissal is GREEN LINE unless your child attends the YMCA.

  • PTA After school Enrichment clubs are led by outside vendors who are approved by the district to offer clubs on our campus. The schedule of clubs is dictated by the vendors’ availability.

HELPFUL HINTS and REMINDERS (no particular order)

  • We are using ACTIVE for registration and while it is compatible with mobile devices ‐ we recommend registering from a computer for a higher success rate.

  • If you are registering more than one child for the same club you will no longer need a separate email address.

  • Clubs fill very quickly-this year we are utilizing a waitlist function in Active. Your child will NOT automatically be registered if a spot opens. You will be given a chance to type in requests during registration. The waitlist is manual, and you will be notified via email if there is availability. PTA does it’s best to ensure all the spots of a club are filled!

  • PTA is unable to offer refunds, so please choose wisely. Please read the AEP disclosure on the PTA website.

  • Some clubs have very limited enrollment ‐ register early for best selection.

  • All students will either be taken to YMCA or the Dad’s Club Pavilion on Concordia for Walkers and Carline. Please pick up your child promptly at 3:15 p.m. There will be a drop down option when signing up where your child will go after clubs.

  • Please make sure to put your CHILD’S NAME when enrolling where it asks WHO will be attending clubs. Also, make sure to select the correct grade/teacher in the drop down box when signing up in the online form.

  • All of our AEP vendors have to adhere to Hillsborough County class size regulations based off of the number of their available staff conducting clubs on the Roosevelt campus. The number of clubs we are able to offer each semester varies on vendor approval and availability.
