CAFETERIA VOLUNTEER
Join our Cafeteria Volunteers and play a vital role in ensuring safe and joyful lunchtimes for our students! Your tasks will include helping kids with their lunch items, keeping the area clean by gathering trash and wiping tables, guiding them to tidy up, and fostering positive behavior and noise control. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with our incredible Roosevelt students. Sign up now – spots fill up fast! To sign up, click on the months you wish to volunteer: December and January

WALK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY VOLUNTEER
Sidewalks Stompers is a community organization that aims to improve student health and safety by increasing the number of student pedestrians through school-based incentive programs.  We love participating in their Walk to School Wednesday program here at Roosevelt Elementary, and we encourage students and their families to make walking to school a regular part of their routine! To celebrate our safe walking culture, the PTA provides monthly prize baskets to classrooms from each grade level that had the most walkers for that month. We need YOUR HELP in order to continue running this program successfully.  Please sign up to help with our Wednesday Check-Ins! BIRTHDAY SUNDAE VOLUNTEER
Every month, we come together to celebrate all the birthdays of that month with a delightful Birthday Sundae treat in the cafeteria during your child's lunch period. Your child will be given a special Birthday Sundae ticket by their teacher, redeemable at the ice cream counter during their lunch period. It's a heartwarming chance to see your child on their birthday month at school while spreading joy to their fellow students.
