Silent Disco through the Decades - To celebrate Roosevelt turning 100, we're throwing a Silent Disco through the Decades, and we need a few helpers to make it happen! Throughout the day, on Thursday, 2/12, classes will rotate in for 20-minute dance parties, each set to music from different decades (hello, 1920s through today). Students will grab headphones, dance their hearts out, and celebrate 100 years of school spirit!

Field Day - Thank you for volunteering to help out with field day! This day is so much fun for the kiddos!
For each time slot, we will need volunteers who will be assigned to stay at a game station and someone to help with popsicles! Then everyone can cheer on epic tug-of-war matchups!

WALK TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY VOLUNTEER
Sidewalks Stompers is a community organization that aims to improve student health and safety by increasing the number of student pedestrians through school-based incentive programs. We love participating in their Walk to School Wednesday program here at Roosevelt Elementary, and we encourage students and their families to make walking to school a regular part of their routine! To celebrate our safe walking culture, the PTA provides monthly prize baskets to classrooms from each grade level that had the most walkers for that month. We need YOUR HELP in order to continue running this program successfully. Please sign up to help with our Wednesday Check-Ins! We need volunteers to help check in students who walk to school, as they arrive between 7:10am and 7:40am. Sign up here: Walk to School Wednesday Sign-Up

We appreciate your help with this fun celebration! Ice cream, supplies, and instructions will be available upon arrival and are located in the PTA freezer/storage area of the cafeteria kitchen.
(July birthdays will attend in August, and June birthdays will attend in May)
